| Policies
Note: Please know we maintain these policies to help protect our clients as well as OSD. They let us get the housekeeping issues out of the way and focus on the projects! They ensure that clients have as professional an attitude toward their projects as we do. And they minimize time wasted on rescheduling for nonessential reasons and renegotiating. Booking Sessions - Sessions may be booked by email or phone (which we give to new clients after they contact us via email). A $50 holding deposit is required to reserve each date booked. We are happy to give you a statement immediately if you wish, showing that payment has been made. The deposit will be credited to your account when you arrive for your session. Cancelling Sessions - It takes time and effort to get everything and everyone organized for a session, and we would greatly appreciate your help in keeping rescheduling and no-shows to a minimum. If you must cancel or reschedule a session, we request that you let us know at least one week in advance. If a session is cancelled with less than 72 hours' notice, the client forfeits the holding deposit. That is to say the deposit will not be refunded or used as a holding deposit for future bookings. Payments - Services are paid for ahead of time or at the time of service. This allows us to get the money out of the way and just focus on the project! Many clients with larger projects opt to simply prepay chunks of studio time and keep up with the balance as we provide them with periodic statements. Demos and other smaller projects are often just paid on a per session basis. We accept all methods of payment in U.S. dollars, including online payments (see below).
