OSD's philosophy on equipment is simple: Buy great gear, master it, and use it to it's fullest to produce a wide range of sounds for our clients!

We believe this philosophy is reflected in the list below. Of particular note are the Neumann, Schoeps, and Royer microphones, outboard preamps, and the TC Electronic System 6000 multichannel processor.

If you are looking for a facility with a particular piece of gear, please don't hesitate to contact us! We have certainly been known to buy a piece of gear for a particular project! And just about anything can be rented.

Line 6 HD147 – We prefer to mic cabinets for guitar tones but have actually gotten some pretty convincing results using this unit when used in conjunction with either the punchy API pre or the warm, buttery Universal Audio tube pre, plus sometimes a nice "goo-ey" Pultec tube EQ. Works well for high gain tones, certain clean tones, and cabinet simulation.

Gibson GA-5 SkylarkThis tube amp built ca. 1964 works great for blues tones or any tones that require a more subtle amounts of overdrive and break-up.
